FUE Hair Transplant Recovery- Another How Soon Will I Look Normal After Surgery Blog
21st August 2017
One of the most critical aspects of surgery for many patients is ‘How soon will I look normal?’
Now that will vary from patient to patient and various factors play a part in how the scalp heals following surgery but we advise in most cases after FUE that the scalp should not have signs that surgery has taken place between 7-10 days post op. For patients wanting to be totally discreet most will factor in two weeks away from work or from social events. With the small FUE tools that we use for extraction and for making the recipient area incisions and together with our use of ATP and Hypothermosol post op, some patients are getting the confidence to return to work even quicker.
This patient had 1500 grafts throughout the frontal area of his scalp to add greater density to his existing hair. Deciding on a clean shave before surgery so people would get used to his new short haircut he was prepared for the shave on the surgery day.
This series of photos shows the patient immediate post op on the day of surgery to 14 days post op and is an excellent showcase of how the majority of our FUE patients recover during this period. Enjoy the photos and I will keep updating this thread to show how the results come in over the months.
