I have been very much looking forward to writing this review.

From the submission of the online questionnaire to the clinic's follow-up messages to check on my well-being, I was very impressed with the dedication and professionalism of The Maitland Clinic. I chose The Maitland Clinic after seeing him featured on TV to fix a transplant that I had abroad as the hairline didn't look very natural.

Dr Ball thoroughly explained everything about the procedure and the more I learned the more I wished I had just gone to The Maitland Clinic to begin with.

I lost count of the amount of technicians that are dedicated to perform the actual surgery. Dr Ball spent several hours meticulously selecting, removing and passing each graft to the technicians for sorting according to their thickness. The grafts are then carefully preserved in a fluid to ensure that they can be transplanted successfully into the recipient area by two more technicians who rotate every few minutes to ensure uniformity.

As I understand it, the instructions to stop drinking and exercise etc shortly prior to the procedure are there to minimise bleeding. I followed them and after just a few days it was not obvious at all that I had had a procedure. My hair looked much thicker and the hairline very natural after just a few weeks.

Do now go abroad, just go and see Dr Ball at The Maitland Clinic - you will not regret it!
