"My Journey to date"

Having done the normal research and my due diligence as to whom I considered was the best surgeon that I would be happy to do a procedure for me. I decided on the Maitland Clinic and
especially Dr. Ball.

I had my initial consultation with David Anderson the 'Senior Patient Advisor' at the Portsmouth clinic to discuss (for me) a final hair transplant, having had four previous transplants some 30 years ago all performed by a leading hair transplant specialist (not Maitland Clinic) in London.

During the consultation I was very impressed with David, he took the time to explain everything to me in detail, including my options and possible solutions of what could potentially be the best course of action.

I then introduced to Dr. Ball and to be totally honest, I was surprised by his honesty and frankness, as to, is there enough hair available in the donor site, due to the four previous transplants, this made me think, am I doing the right thing, it also made me realise, Dr. Ball wasn't just looking for more business for the clinic, he was actually considering ME and MY needs, for me this spoke volumes of how genuine and honest he and the clinic was.

From the moment I received my telephone call from Karen the 'post-operative nurse' to discuss any worries or concerns about my procedure, to the moment I walked through the door on 'day 1' to be met by another of Dr. Balls very able assistant Ildi, I was made to feel at ease and felt that I had a professional team around me to get me through the day.

I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to Dr. Ball and his whole team for what they have done for me. I really knew I had the best team all working together for me.

This procedure has made a huge impact to me, not only on the outside which is where people are looking, but inside, this has changed my life.

Early days at the moment (1 week), my journey continues.
